Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission
Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) is an official body, which conducts examinations for the recruitment of various administrative posts (in civil services) under the state of Madhya Pradesh. This commission was established on 1 November 1956. Since then, this commission has been effectively serving the state. The Constitution of India (Articles 315 to 323) allows the Union and the States to constitute the Public Service Commission. Hence, this commission is a constitutional body. Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission conducts several types of exams, including one-level (interview or selection based test only), two-tier (selection test + interview-based), and three-tier (preliminary examination + main examination + interview-based) examinations.
Examinations conducted by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission
- State Services Examination
Various administrative services of the state of Madhya Pradesh like Deputy Collector, Assistant Police Officer (DSP), Block Development Officer (BDO), Regional Traffic Officer (RTO), Assistant Commissioner, Jail Superintendent, District Minority Welfare Officer, District Food Distribution Officer, etc. Appointments to posts are made through this examination. In order to appear in this examination, it is mandatory for the candidate to have passed at least graduation. This exam is completed through three stages (Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview).
- State Forest Services Examination
Appointments are made for the posts of Assistant Forest Conservator and Forest Officer under this examination to be conducted by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. In order to participate in this examination, it is mandatory for the candidate to have passed at least graduation. This exam is also completed in three stages like the State Service Examination.
- State Engineering Services Examination
Through this examination, subject-wise appointments are made to various posts of the Engineering Department under the state of Madhya Pradesh. The minimum educational qualification for appearing in the preliminary phase of this examination, which is completed in three stages, is graduation in engineering.
- Health Officer Examination
This examination is conducted for the appointment of Assistant Health Officers in each district under the Ministry of Health of the state. Minimum educational qualification to join this M.B.B.S. To pass. The exam is completed in three stages, both written and oral (interview).
- District Assistant Prosecuting Officer Examination
M.P.P.S.C. The minimum qualification to appear in this examination conducted by is a graduate in law. The examination is completed in three stages. In the first two stages, a written selection test (preliminary and main examination) and finally qualified applicants are invited for an interview.
