7 Tips for Managing CAT exam preparation Stress CAT

For those who have anxiety and take the CAT exam. How can you control your anxiety and the sleepless nights that follow? These are the seven steps to take!

1.CAT Exam preparation
Anxiety is rooted in the unknown, the "what-ifs" that swirl around in your head. You will have fewer "what-ifs" to worry about the more you know. You should be familiar with the format of the CAT. Be aware of the type of questions that should be asked. Do your research. Learn the formulae and have it tested in a cat. You'll be able to fight those jitters if you are confident in your abilities.

2. Prepare more after you have prepared.
You would have likely taken several mock tests. Even though you scored well, there is always more. Continue to review the most important formulae and basics. Find the test center and do a trial run. Be sure to know what you will wear. Comfortable clothes are the best.

3. Relax
Close your eyes, and imagine a bright future filled with the places you have always wanted to see. Take deep breaths. You can listen to your favorite Gregorian chants. Get a massage. Relax as much as possible in the days leading to the CAT. You don't have to stop studying, but you shouldn't be solely focused on the exam. Remember that the CAT test is not something you can memorize. You will be well versed in the material by the time you get to the final days. Anything you do at the last day is unlikely to make a difference. Practice problems and review your time management strategies, but don't get too crazy. Make sure you get enough rest and good food. But go out, enjoy life.

4. Indulge a bit
As you prepare for the CAT exam, get as much sleep as possible. Although you may not have slept for eight hours in one night since your three-year-old years, it is possible to get enough sleep. Now is the best time to get up and go without an alarm. You should also remember to heed your mother's advice and eat your vegetables.

5. Have a plan for post-CAT
You have a tough day ahead of yourself. That is something that no one can deny. Give yourself something to look forward to, something that gives you joy and something you can enjoy. You can invite a friend to dinner, book tickets for the evening's game, or get a manicure for one hour. You are almost there!

6. Keep your head up if things start to get a little crazy
The worst thing about test anxiety is that if you get too caught up in the beginning question, you can lose your confidence. Don't let it. You can control this. You can control the difficulty of the CAT. Don't get discouraged if you don't know the answer to a question. You don't have the time, and it's not necessary. You can just move on without worrying.

7. Restart LIFE
People who use Facebook to share photos and chat while they prepare for CAT may reduce their Facebook usage. Take a break. It's time to end that fast. Enjoy life as you always did. Relax and renew your mind.
